She Tastes Like an Angel
Soot thinks she
tastes like cotton candy on her lips. Even though Amanda died years ago, he
could still taste her. He’s always wondered how. Even Amanda doesn’t have an
answer to that.
“I don’t know
many things,” she admitted. The way she said it made him perk up. Amanda froze
as she realized what she said.
“That didn’t
come out right, did it?” she asked. Soot threw back his head and laughed. The
angel’s face was so red. Before she knows it, he is standing in front of her.
The angel blinked at him.
“What?” she
asked. Soot leaned in and kissed her on the lips. The angel froze as her face
turned redder. He grabbed hold of her. He always wanted to try this. Could he do
it? There was only one way to see.
Soot finally
pulled away. Amanda stared at him with big eyes.
“How was that?”
he asked. She blinked at first.
“What was that
for?” Amanda asked. Soot smirked and shrugged.
“Too much for
you?” he asked. She didn’t know how to answer. Soot broke into a huge grin.
“Do you want me
to kiss you again?” he asked. Amanda slowly nodded. Her boyfriend raised his
eyebrow.
“Are you sure?”
he asked.
“Yes!” she
quickly said. Soot let off a little laugh and kissed her again. This time, the
angel kissed him back. Soot gently pushed her back onto his bed. He climbed on
top of her.
“Do you want to
keep going?” he asked. Amanda looked up at him with doe-like eyes. She pressed
her lips together.
“I can stop if
you want,” he said. The angel shook her head.
“No?” Soot
asked.
“No,” she said,
shaking her head. He leaned down and kissed her on the lips. Amanda kissed him
back again. Soot decided to go slow with this. She was still innocent like she
was when she was human. It was like not much had changed. Soot pulled away from
the kiss and sat up. He smiled down at her.
“I wonder what
else of yours tastes like cotton candy,” he said aloud. Amanda made a face at
him.
“What?” she asked. Soot was only grinning at her. She could see the wheels turning his head as he slid off his jacket.
