Chapter Two:
Naples:
-Day Two-
Diamond stood in
front of her guests.
“Good morning!
Did you sleep well? Good, good. I just got us some breakfast. I’ll wait for you
to wash up. Find me in the kitchen.”
-Minutes Later-
Diamond takes a
bite at the table.
“Really good,
huh? I just figured that I would pick up some bomboloe and smoked meat this
morning. I should’ve gotten grapes. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.” She takes another
bite.
“You’re going to
be eating good while you’re with me. What are we doing today? Oh, we’re going to
Naples. You’re going to love it. What are we going to do today?” Diamond broke
into a huge smile.
“You’ll have to
come along and see.” She took another bite of her bomboloe.
“Finish eating.
We have a long day ahead of us.”
----------
-10:00 a.m.-
Diamond leads
the way.
“Ah, Naples. I
haven’t been here since I was eleven.” She twirled around for a bit.
“What do you
want to do first? Hm? What is there to do here? Museums, sight-seeing, shopping,
maybe catch a show. Hm? Don’t worry about money. Your food is on me. You just
spend your money on the shopping. It’s okay. Really it is.” Diamond gave her a
guest a curious look.
“Hm? You want me
to pick first. Okay. What all do you like? History, you say? Alright, we can go
to the history museum first. Let’s look around at the sights while we’re at it.
Oh and stay by be. Look out for scammers too. Oh don’t worry. You’ll be fine.
You have me after all.” Diamond held out her hand.
“Come on. Did
you know that Naples is the home of pizza. That’s right. Thank my people for the
party food. There’s more than pizza and spaghetti in my country. I told you
would be eating well over the fourteen days.” She winked.
“I know just the
place to go first on our history museum tour. Follow me. Where do you want to
have lunch? What are you in the mood for? Pizza, huh?” Diamond chuckled.
“You’re in the
right place after all. Maybe we’ll get some gelato later. Then we do so
sight-seeing and shopping.” She smiled as they run faster into the crowd.
“Come along. I want to get there before the crowds.”
